On this episode of, Image is Everything, we did something a little different. We did a Throw Back Thursday..,and letting you guys listen to myself, and the Vicious Kinids guest appearance on the World Famous BBQ Radio Show, from last summer. I know most of you probably haven't heard the episode, so, I thought it would be fun to include it in the podcast. If you want to skip to where my interview begins, it's about the 33 minute mark, and the Vicious Kinids come on right after me. Next week we should be back to our regular format, and we should have the Vicious Kinids in studio as guests on next weeks show.
On this episode of, Image is Everything, I believe I got the sound fixed, hopefully. I apologize for last weeks episode, the sound just went off the rails. Hopefully, this one is back close to what it was before. In this episode I was rushed to head to the airport, but I touched on the loss of the legendary, Paul C. Bluff. The iconic man who brought affordable strobe equipment to so many Photographers. I also touch base on the announcement that, Amazon, is poised to offer unlimited, data storage for just a flat $12 bucks a year. If this turns out to be true, well that will be awesome. I wonder what other big companies will step up, and follow suit.
On this episode of, "Image is Everything" I was lucky enough to get model Amber Kellehan to come back after our shoot yesterday, to be a guest on the podcast. Amber is fairly new to the industry, but very much has her sights set on Playboy, with an all time dream of being Playboy Playmate of the month. We def hope she gets there, and will be cheering her on all the way.
In Episode 11, we completely veer off our usual format of photography, to really discuss the new social media platform, tsu. I have been getting lots of messages, asking many about tsu, and what exactly is tsu. So, in this hour episode, I try to answer many of those questions. Is tsu, right for you? tsu.co/ravholly
After an almost three month hiatus, I am finally back on the Podcast. In Ep 10, I will touch base on why I haven't been podcasting as of late. what I have been up to, and my somewhat new direction of the show, and all signs point to tsu being major scam....or do they? Listen in to episode 10 to find out what I think! If you want an invite to tsu, click ---> tsu.co/ravholly
In Ep 9 of Image is Everything, I talk about my website hosting company, what a fabulous platform is it, where I started back in the day designing, and coding my own website, to where it's come today, being hosted with FolioHD, what an amazing interface they have which makes updating your website, simple, painless, and a breeze. Also touch base on popular Southern California Photographer, Arthur St John, and his horrible luck, having all his gear stolen out of his car ( Don't leave gear in your car). Last, but not least Facebook fan, and business pages, what's the latest, and are they all they are cracked up to be.
In this Episode of Image is everything I talk about what I have been working on, which included the largest Ad Campaign I have ever been a part of, and a Wedding I shot along with my 2nd shooter Jung Kim, where we were literally faced with shooting a wedding in the pitch black dark.
In Episode 4, of Image is Everything I try to answer for beginners to Photography, should you start in Manual, or Auto Mode? The reasons why I think what I do, and honest, solid sound advice as to why I think the way I do, on the subject.
